There is the Dvoretsky Endgame Manual, which is glorious, but too high level for most people. Beginner - Essential Chess Endings (James Howell). It's the third book I have by the two authors and the fourth by Dvoretsky. For every Sicilian variation an expert advise by a grandmaster. Lots of high-level analysis material. @Tomasz Chessthinker Obviously there have been three attempts to do exactly this type of book. - Build up your Chess series (Arthur Yussupow). Fortunately lots of text also, makes it a Don't buy this book. Bosch (ed) – Secrets of Opening Surprises. I bought a used copy of 'Training for the Tournament Player' by Mark Dvoretsky & Artur Yusupov. Aagard/Shaw (ed.) – Experts vs the Sicilian. Dvoretsky – Analytical manual. One of the best strategy books ever, highly recommended for 1700 to GM. Lipnitsky – Questions of modern #chess strategy. Intermediate to Advanced - Dvoretsky's Endgame Manual (Dvoretsky).
